Leave the shoes in the bucket for about five to ten minutes. 3. Rinse Off All of the Soap, Then Dry Them by Hand or in a Towel

1. Fill a Pot with Water and Add in Baking Soda 

The baking soda will bubble and create a paste-like reaction with the water, making it easier to clean off any dirt on your shoes.

2. Put Your Shoes Into the Pot, Making Sure They’re Fully Submerged

A few seconds later, the dirt and grime will start to slide off of your shoes. Once you’ve cleaned out all of the gunk, rinse them with cool water and dry them by hand or in a towel. You can use that same pot for about a week before needing to give it a good scrubbing.

3. Let Them Soak for at Least an Hour

If you want to make the process even easier, leave them overnight because soaking will loosen any dirt that’s built up. It’ll take a while for your shoes to dry completely on their own, but this is why we recommend using baking soda over vinegar–it won’t smell as bad!
